Hella Lazy/Smart Like That is the ninth episode of Big Brother 1.

Episode Summary[]

While Tyler had wanted Sam out last round, he hadn’t really pushed it, knowing the others wanted to keep him.

In the head of household competition, Perry ended up winning. He nominated Tyler and Yap, since this was the final power of veto competition and all the power would be in the hands of the veto winner, he didn’t think it would matter.

Tyler had hoped to not be nominated even though it didn’t really matter, since if he survived this round, he would have made it to the final 3 and if he won final HOH, he would have made it to the end without ever having been nominated.

In the power of veto competition, they were told they could help eachother if they wanted. While initially Yap wanted to evict Tyler and take Sam to the end, Tyler convinced him to help him win by appealing to their personal bond, Yap feeling bad about targeting his friend, decided to help him win as long as he promised to not evict him.

Tyler ended up winning the power of veto with Yap’s help, he used it to save himself, putting Sam on the block next to Yap.

Tyler decided to evict Sam, while everyone saw Sam as someone easy to beat, Tyler saw him as the only person who would never take him to the end if he won final hoh and as someone who the other two would take to the final over him.
